Treaty of Waitangi.

Hey welcome back to another post so lets get straight Into It.
Early this term we have bee learning about Waitangi day and what It means.
So the whole hub got share a slide with things and story's about Waitangi day there were lots of stuff we got to learn. Also the treaty was signed on 1840 a few years later the British and the Maori started having wars again and It causes lots of Maoris going broke.
Then through out the years they started getting along well with each other so yeah.

My first of 2020.

Hey guys welcome back It been awhile since my last post because of the holidays and That what I will talk about today and other things as well. So last holiday Me and my family and some other friends went on holiday to Mapua for 2 weeks. We got to do lots of things like going on the boat going for bike rides Jumping of the warf and probably many more things I cant remember.
So the holiday was fun and enjoyable so yeah.

Things that I'm looking forward to do this year Is going Into my leadership group I aint sure what one I'm In but It's going to be cool. Another thing I'm exited about this year Is Cricket and Winter sport because I enjoy playing sports and having fun and getting fit. Something else I'm excited for Is to learn new and do things with other people.

My hopes for this year Is to come first In cross county Zones and do well In centrals. Something else hoping for this year Is to be better with my learning because last year I wasn't always putting my best effort In.

Pool day.

Hey yo welcome back to another Blog post today I will be sharing my time at the pool with my my hub so hope you enjoy.  On the 29th of November the year 5/6 and year 7/8 hub went to Waltham pool for the afternoon. Well I didn't really enjoy the pool day because It was just a bit boring being In the water for 2 hours. But It didn't matter because I went to Okains bay at 1:30PM so that was something to enjoy. But anway the best part was of the pool day was that I got hang out with my friends In the water without a bell ringing you back Into class.
So anyway It was a good day but not the funnest time but hopefully next time It will be good.

Summer learning Journey.

Hey welcome back to another blog post today I will be sharing you my summer learning Journey about the Lord, BFG and taiki waititi and find everything we can about them I've chosen the BFG.
In 1982 one Author Raold dahl wrote a book about a big friendly Giant that lived In a land of giants who were mean and hungry. One night the BFG went out at Night and a little Girl woke up In an orphanage the girl saw the Giant then the BFG saw the girl and took her to his village. When the girl came out she was frightened she thought the giant was going to eat her then the BFG fell Into laughter and said I'm the Big friendly giant I wont eat you. During the time In the village the other Giants smelled something It was the girl then the giants made a big fuss about everything.
Because the girl was In danger the BFG took her back to the Orphanage to keep her safe.

Top team

Hey yo welcome back to another blog post today I will talking to you about top team.
Top team Is where people come along and set up games and tasks we need to do.
The Tasks we did were water Tasks team tasks and probably more that I forgot. The day was really fun and enjoyable and at the end of the day everybody tipped water on there head and had a good time.

After the long day like I said everybody Jumped in the water. Well I saw a big puddle and belly flopped Into It. So that was what happened so after that everybody went home.

Tough kids.

Hey yo welcome back to another blog post and today I will be talking to you about Tough kids.
So last week on wends day the year 3 to 8 from my school went to kids. For Tough kids we got to run around a track and run through obstacles and water. My favourite part about the Tough kids was going Into the water because I liked Jumping around In It.

Sports rotations.

Hey welcome back to another blog post today I will share about the 4 sports rotation the year 5/6 and year 7/8 have done. First up my home base Played Cricket math against each other then 45 minutes later we played Soft ball where there were heaps of fielders and the batsman had to hit it as far as they can. Then the next week we played Korfball which Is a bit like Basketball and Netball because you can't move with the ball but you can shoot from outside the circle. Then this week we played lawn bowls we got to play a lot of activities and add our points up from all of the games.
