The year 7/8 hub went to the to do some art were there's some Items on the table and we draw what we see. We took turns looking at other sides of the table and what Items we see It was pretty cool It would be pretty cool to do It again.

Oh hi there welcome back to another post for the term hopefully It can be a great post this week so let's get on with it.

On April 9 2019 there's a Digi awards at school where doing the Digi awards about our driving goal.

At the start of the term we chose our PBL groups for the Digi awards. First we started getting Ideas then we chose an Idea we decided to do a Kahoot and people we believe to be great.

Winter sports

Now let's start the post From year 5 to 8 there's a winter sport tournament the sport's are Netball, Hockey, Football and Rugby. You get to choose a first and second choice my choice my first choice was Football and my second choice was Rugby. Every sport has a trial to see what team you make It In but I haven't trialed yet but hopefully I'll make the top team.

Cricket

Hi welcome back It's another blog post here today so I hope you enjoy hopefully.
For the past thew weeks there has been cricket for school. First of there was a trial to see what team you make It in there were 3 teams A B and C and I made In the top team were we played hard ball cricket.
we have played 2 games so far we haven't won any games but It's been fun.

I think I got 1 game to go In the season and It might decide If the team makes It to the finals hopefully we do. In the past 2 games I have got 3 wickets batting wasn't great only got 16 runs I can do better than that. So hopefully the season goes well and making It to the finals. Michael jordan

Michael Jordan was born 17 February 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, one of James and Deloris jordan five children. The family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, when Michael was very young. His father worked as a General Electric plant supervisor, and his mother worked at a bank. Michael Jordan Is known as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Michael Jordan's Dad James Jordan junior was a professional baseball player.

His first season he was named to the All-Star team and was later honored as the league's Rookie of the Year. Michael Jordan's career high was 69 points In a single game.He became the first player since wilt chamberlain (1936–1999) to score 3,000 points in a single season. By adding such players as Scottie pippin Bill Cartwright, Horace Grant, and John Paxson around Jordan, the Bulls' management created a strong team that won the 1991 NBA title by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers. The next year, the Bulls repeated as NBA champions by beating the Portland Trail Blazers In 1992.In the 1995/1996 season the Chicago bulls won the most games In a season 72/10 the 20 years later It was broken by the golden state warriors won 73/9 In the 2015/2016 season. Michael Jordan went on to coach the Charlotte hornets another NBA team and Is doing very well.

Swimming lessons at QEII

Oh hi guys welcome back to another post Iv'e already done a blog post about swimming sports but today Is swimming lessons sit back relax and enjoy. On the 3rd or 4th week of school the school started doing swimming lessons at QEII. On the first day we had a trial to see what group we would go In I made It In the second highest group so I think I did well.

So then as the swimming lessons went It got funner and funner but It had to end someday at the end of swimming I was so tired but It was worth it. Thanks for reading my blog post and see you later bye.

Oh hi and welcome are you excited for another post well I hope you do. Well on a Friday someday I don't remember lets just move on. Here we go the 5/6 and 7/8 hub went to to jelly park to do swimming sports. there were 4 races backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and butterfly and the lengths are width 25 meters and 50 meters.

I raced In 25 metre backstroke I did alright I think I did at least but you could only go to zones In 50 metres. Now lets talk about 50 metre freestyle not much to talk about that I came last so unfortunately I didn't make It to zones. I didn't make It zones but at least I gave It a go and that what It's all about thank you reading my post I hope you enjoy bye. 

Year 7 leadership.

SPORTS DAY. Welcome welcome welcome It's been a long time since my last post so hope you enjoy.
Well this year I'm a year 7 which means there's a lot of stepping up. It was sports day, I was the leader of my Friday sports group.

It was kinda hard taking care of my sports group they running away so I had to go find them but In the end It was fun and I had the chance to step up and be a leader.

This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about design and the big question was; How can we use a Steam approach to make a marketable product?

First we learned what STEAM stood for.

S for Science

T for Technology

E for Engineering





A for the Arts

and M for Maths

Then we were given challenges. The first to make a chair using newspaper, string and straws that was able to hold a figure made out of multi-link blocks.

Then; make a table that was able to balance Mn Ms for the team. We were much better at the second challenge because we knew what to do because last time we didn’t really know anything.

In Literacy we learned to write up science experiments and to write a technology report using the design process of ask, imagine, plan, create, improve and share.



Our next step was to form teams and ask ourselves the big question again.

How can we use a Steam approach to make a marketable product? Our aim was to create enough products or experiences and sell it to raise money for charity.



My team made this my team made stress balls and perfume but we got got lollies for prizes.



Reflection



My highlight from this PBL was that we made money for charity to help other poor charities. Next time I would try to participate In the group more.

• St Cecilia was born 200 AD born In Rome Italy. St Cecilia was born In a rich family so they were a wealthy family they had all they needed.
• St Cecilia died In 230 AD she got stabbed 3 times and lasted three days and her last words were make my house Into my church. St Cecilia used a piano and she sang with her mouth. The last song St Cecilia sang was heart to the lord. 
• St Cecilia loved music she Is the patron saint of music and musicians. St Cecilia followed God In her music and her prayers.
