• St Cecilia was born 200 AD born In Rome Italy. St Cecilia was born In a rich family so they were a wealthy family they had all they needed.
• St Cecilia died In 230 AD she got stabbed 3 times and lasted three days and her last words were make my house Into my church. St Cecilia used a piano and she sang with her mouth. The last song St Cecilia sang was heart to the lord. 
• St Cecilia loved music she Is the patron saint of music and musicians. St Cecilia followed God In her music and her prayers.

My PBL learning Maori myths and legends

Welcome back for another post of mine It has been awhile since I've done a post hope enjoy.
Well today I'm going to share about my Maori myths and legends about stories of Maui and other great stories.

On Thursday the 27th of September the year 5/6 and the year 7/8 had a performance. For my performance we had redone the battle of the mountains. The battle of the mountains Is a Maori legend about 4 mountain fighting for love. Tongariro, Taranaki, Putuaki and Tauhara were all trying to take Pihanga as there wife. Now lets talk about the stories I read Maui and the sun, Maui and the giant fish and Hatupatu and the bird woman and then I retold the story Maui and the sun.                                                               

Reflection:

For our production I contributed by helping the painting the rocks.

I think the show might impact on others by how they can learn these myths and legends.

What I learned about working with others was to help us work together and make things better.

Term 3 Swiming

Halla and welcome back to another post of mine hope you enjoy. On September 3 we had swimming school we went to graham condon pool for two weeks we got to do lots of things. We went on Monday swam non stop until the next Friday. Everyday we took our buddies to the pool and then they went to the smaller pool. It was lots of fun.

On the last three days of swimming on Wednesday and Thursday we wearied our life jackets and learnt about safety rules on the last day we wearied our pyjamas and hoped In the pool.

Welcome back to another post about my learning. My reading response so It's based on the book about Hatupatu and the bird woman when Hatupatu gets captured by the bird woman. Hatupatu needs something to get out so he can fly away here's my idea.
Idea:

I read the story…..Hatupatu and the bird women.  

It was about…..Hatupatu was captured by the bird women and she kept him as a slave.

We then had to create….A poster for Hatupatu to escape with.

This was my idea….

I chose to do this because…. I chose this idea so Hatupatu could fly away from the bird woman with the feathers.

Hatupatu needs to hang on to the sides to make sure he doesn’t fall and get captured by the bird woman.

Now I'm going teach you ways to show respect. Don't judge people of who they are and were they come from. Here's another tip treat others the ways you wont to be treated.

Hi and welcome to another post of mine hope you enjoy. So for this post I'm go to share my speech about Cricket hope you enjoy. 

                   This Is my speech.

                   Cricket

Hi and welcome to my speech about my facts about cricket. Cricket Is the second most popular sport In the world behind football. Cricket was first played In the 18 hundreds as countries like England and Australia started playing tests matches against each other It was called the ashes. The reason It was called the ashes because England lost there first series In the ashes then they burnt the wickets then It turned In to ashes. I’ve been playing Cricket since I was eight years old this Is my 4th year of cricket.

For Cricket you need to use a helmet, gloves, box, pads, ball and a Cricket bat.

That’s what you need to protect yourself In cricket now let's move on to what you do with this gear. With the Cricket bat, gloves and helmet you need try and hit the ball so you can’t get out.

There are 3 pieces of wood that are called wickets. The batsman needs to stop It from hitting the wickets and the bowler needs to try and hit them so the batsman gets out.

Then the fielder needs to try and catch It and throw It at the wickets and there's a umpire/referee thats does the hand signals and If the thinger goes up It’s a wicket.  

The reason I started Cricket. I started Cricket because It was fun and It was In the summer so you could play more. Before I started playing Cricket I played with my Dad and my brother In the backyard. When I started having fun I started playing Cricket for a club that has been going very well.

For 3 years In arrow I have been bowler of the year for my team. My first year and 2 year of cricket I got 27 wickets and my third year I got 21. I average 2 wickets per game and I average 12 runs per game. My third year of Cricket we only lost 3 games In 16 matches that was my best season for my team.

Hi and welcome to another speech of mine hope you enjoy. Now I'm going to share my learning It's maths. What I am working on In maths Is rounding and compensating If you know what that Is but If you don't I help you know It. 

Here's a example for you so 212+258 to make It easier take away 12 on the 200 and plus 12 on to 258 and that makes 200+270=570. So do you under stand now I hope you do cause that makes It a lot easier.

Welcome back to my latest post. Hope you enjoy me sharing my learning about my culture.
Well you wanna here where I'm from well I'm 45 percent Kiwi, 45 percent English, 5 percent Irish and 5 percent Scottish. So all added that means I'm 45 percent Kiwi and 55 percent Brittish.


So those are my countries now I'm going to share what I do at Christmas and at Easter. Now lets start off with Christmas. For Christmas I wake up at 7:30 AM on Christmas day and open my presents. After when I open my presents we go to a friends house at 2:30 PM and party for a long time.
So that's how I celebrate Christmas now lets move on to Easter.

Now lets talk about what I do on Easter. Well there's not much to say on I just normally sit down, eat chocolate and play on the play station.

Fun day out

Hi guys here we are back for another post this post Is going to be about our fun day out hope you enjoy my post. This year In term 2 and week 2 we went on a fun day out to clip and climb when we were at school we did Lego and art It was really fun but the funnest part was clip and climb.
